Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in purchasing.
• A Master's degree may substitute for the required experience at a rate of one year for 15 semester hours.

Responsibilities

• Draft specifications for RFQ and RFP.
• Review bids and evaluate proposals.
• Prepare award recommendations for RFQ and RFP solicitations.
• Enter and monitor contract renewals with vendors.
• Execute payments via Purchasing Card.
• Conduct market research for goods and services.
• Coordinate with vendors to discuss products and services.
• Monitor contracts and vendor performance.
• Prepare correspondence and reports for the procurement file.
