Job summary

Department of Rehabilitation Services is seeking a skilled procurement/contracting professional to manage the lifecycle of acquisitions and ensure compliance with state and federal rules.

The role covers drafting and reviewing specifications, managing bids, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Travel may be required; certification as a Certified Procurement Officer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years technical clerical work plus two years procurement/purchasing experience.
• Ability to write and review procurement contracts and related documents.
• Knowledge of state purchasing laws and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contract files and records and track deadlines and renewals.
• Prepare, review, and process contracts and related documents; update systems.
• Coordinate procurement, bidding processes, and change orders; support contract management staff.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, legal staff, and internal departments; respond to inquiries.
