Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Contract Buyer to provide procurement and contracting support for materials, equipment, and services. You will manage sourcing activities from requisition to award, use ERP systems to issue POs and contracts, and coordinate cross-functional reviews to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business-related fields and 3+ years of purchasing experience, including contract work, with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, finance, or a related field and three or more years of related purchasing or procurement experience, including contract experience.
• Experience with competitive solicitations, supplier proposal analysis, purchase order issuance, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience using purchasing and inventory functions within an enterprise resource planning system (Oracle experience beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and analyze requisitions to ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Review scope documents and requirements for completeness and clarify gaps before sourcing events.
• Source materials and services through competitive and noncompetitive procurement processes.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation including solicitations, bid records, and agreements.
• Use ERP systems to create sourcing events, manage communications, proposals, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate evaluations, analyze proposals, terms, pricing, and total cost.
• Conduct negotiations for pricing, terms, and conditions for award.
• Prepare and administer purchase orders and contracts per policies and approvals.
• Coordinate internal reviews (legal, insurance, risk, safety, finance) before work begins.
• Resolve contractual, delivery, invoicing, quality, or supplier performance issues; document corrective actions.
• Monitor procurement activities and communicate risks and status to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement files and support audits and reporting.
• Build relations with business units, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Produce management reports and project documentation as requested.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and always follow safety requirements.
