Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking a procurement professional in Texas to lead strategy development and supplier relationships for complex third-party solutions. The role covers contracting, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in procurement strategy and contract negotiations, with strong communication and attention to detail. Military affiliation is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in procurement strategy, including planning, sourcing, solutioning, and supplier relationship management.
• 2 years of experience negotiating and authoring contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing.
• Military affiliation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient experience with contracting & analytics tools, including Microsoft Office, contract redlining, cost analysis, charts, and supporting documentation.
• Conducts all phases in moderately complex acquisitions of third-party/affiliate solutions: consulting on statements of work, RFPs, supplier identification, proposal evaluations and negotiations.
• Designs and executes moderately complex sourcing plans to meet client strategy through third-party solutions.
• Interprets provisions and terms of low to complex risk contracts that could impact enterprise operations and finances.
• Collaborates with Legal and other experts to interpret contracts and resolve escalated issues.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to gather business requirements and specifications for third-party solutions to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient experience: contracting & analytical tools, including Microsoft Office products contract redlining, develop cost analysis, charts, and/or supporting documentation
• Conducts all phases in the development of moderately complex acquisitions of third-party/affiliate solutions to include consulting on statements of work, creating requests for proposals, identification of qualified suppliers, proposal evaluations and negotiations.
• Applies proficient knowledge in the design and execution of moderately complex sourcing plans and solutions designed to achieve client's strategy through deployment of third-party solutions.
• Interprets the provisions and specific terms of low to complex risk contracts that can decrease the Enterprise's ability to execute on the mission, damage reputation, and/or impair financial stability of the Enterprise such that capital strength of liquidity is temporarily impacted.
• Collaborates with Legal and other subject matter experts as needed to interpret and ensure accuracy of contracts and resolve escalated issues.
• Coordinates with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and specifications to design third-party solutions to achieve optimal business outcomes.
