Job summary

Castle Pines Village Metropolitan District in Colorado is seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing and accounts payable with accuracy and customer service. You will collaborate with staff and vendors to procure goods, services, and construction for the CPVMD and ensure timely processing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in procurement or AP, strong MS Office skills, and certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years procurement or accounts payable experience.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders on procurements.
• Knowledge of RFP/IFB/RFQ/RFI processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and accounts payable functions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Advise leadership on procurement strategy and best practices.
• Draft and issue solicitations (RFPs, IFBs, RFQs, RFIs) for goods and services.
• Manage full solicitation lifecycle including bid evaluations and awards.
• Administer contracts, POs, and service agreements; track deliverables.
• Coordinate vendor management and internal stakeholder communication.
