Job summary

Allere Group, a woman-owned business, seeks a Procurement Contracts Specialist to manage a diverse range of procurements with an annual value up to $100 million. You will lead contract strategy, supplier management, and negotiations to achieve best value and on-time delivery.

The role requires market and financial analysis, collaboration with legal, and alignment with end-user requirements, in a hybrid setting based in Louisville, KY or Allentown, PA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of logistics, materials, or services buying experience.
• Basic knowledge of business law, commercial terms and conditions, and related legal issues.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement models.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure Design-Build, construction services, engineered equipment, software, engineering services, commodities, and services on a best value basis.
• Determine contract models and strategies, manage contracts, and communicate with subject matter experts and managers.
• Develop supplier relationships, track supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement and productivity with suppliers and customers.
• Support complex capital projects by coordinating contracting strategy, resources, and performance.
