Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Procurement and Contract Specialist to serve as a resource for indirect procurement engagements across business functions.

You will manage procurement activities from initial engagement through contract execution, collaborating with Legal, Risk, Finance, and other partners to ensure timely execution of initiatives. The role involves negotiating commercial terms, coordinating contract drafting and approvals, onboarding vendors, and driving multiple procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 2–5 years indirect procurement experience.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and coordinating procurement through execution.
• Experience supporting indirect procurement across multiple functions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, timelines, and supplier needs with stakeholders.
• Independently manage procurement engagements from request to contract execution.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
• Coordinate drafting, review, negotiations, and approvals with Legal, Risk, Finance.
• Maintain procurement documentation and project status in systems.
• Provide timely project status updates and escalate risks.
