Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Lead to join our Houston, TX office with consideration for Austin or Dallas locations. You will oversee contracting and purchasing on major projects, reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Management, and drive procurement strategy and execution across a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in procurement, strong leadership, and Oracle SCM proficiency, with a track record of optimizing cost, quality, and schedule on complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Environmental, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of supply chain experience.
• Several years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle based SCM systems.
• Strong relationship management, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Clear understanding of procurement and contracting procedures/workflows and how they relate to Client-specific and/or project requirements both pre-award and post-award.
• Project bidders list development and bid package preparation.
• Issue RFP and RFQ; bid opening and evaluation.
• Negotiation and clarifications; formation and issuing of PO’s and Contracts.
• Collaborates with clients to define scope, KPIs, budgets, workflows and procedures on projects.
• Work with Project Managers and Responsible Engineers to coordinate procurement needs.
