Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking an Associate Buyer in New York to support production procurement and the Supply Chain. You will collaborate with internal customers and suppliers to manage POs, releases, and BOM data, while maintaining ERP records and driving cost reductions.

The role requires at least 1 year in supply chain, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Office. This is a full-time on-site position in the NY area with potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Proficient English business communications.
• Windows-based computer and related software.
• MS Office including Excel (v-lookups, data filters, pivot tables).
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Self-motivated team player, able to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage POA reports to suppliers weekly.
• Generate and manage purchase orders for indirect materials, services, and Capex.
• Monitor, communicate, and report PO status.
• Maintain parts in ERP with supplier, MPN, MOQ/MPQ, lead times, NCNR.
• Obtain pricing approvals with Procurement/Director of Supply Chain.
• Source for material shortages to reduce delivery impact and PPV.
• Manage MRB items related to quality, receiving issues, ECO, and NCR.
• Execute contract changes.
• Implement PFEP/VMI changes per guidance.
• Adhere to supplier approval processes.
• Manage stock levels of shop floor consumables and office supplies.
• Review packing slips and approve invoices.
• Daily walk about to ensure stock levels.
• Credit card purchases and expense reports.
• Drive cost reduction and supplier negotiations.
• Assist Buyers on procurement activities.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
