Job summary

Storm2 is seeking a Partnerships Associate in Private Equity in New York City with 4 days in-office and Fridays remote. Base salary $125,000–$150,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits.

You will work directly with the Head of Private Equity Partnerships to turn strategic relationships into revenue opportunities. This high-ownership role places you alongside senior investors and executives, building relationships with PE firms, operating partners, CFOs, and portfolio company leaders to drive

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity deal sourcing, growth equity, venture capital, transaction services, or sponsor-focused business development.
• Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate financial, operational, and commercial information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior executives.
• Experience using CRM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach campaigns for private equity firms, operating partners, and portfolio company executives.
• Draft personalized email, LinkedIn, and executive-level communications to drive engagement.
• Identify warm introduction pathways across existing networks and strategic relationships.
• Conduct research on private equity firms, investment strategies, portfolio companies, and industry trends.
• Prepare detailed briefing materials ahead of meetings with investors, operating partners, CFOs, and executive teams.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and tracking of partnerships.
