Corient Services LLC is seeking a private credit professional to execute due diligence on investments for the alternatives platform and to analyze various lending strategies. The role includes authoring memos, risk-return profiling, and supporting wealth advisors with platform navigation.

The ideal candidate holds a finance-related degree, 2–4 years in private credit, and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills. Travel 10–20% is expected; onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• CFA or CAIA designations encouraged.
• 2–4 years in private credit, leverage finance, or debt capital markets preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills; proficient in analytical tools and applications.
• Exceptional communicator in both written and verbal formats; excels in both collaborative and independent work environments.
• Willingness to travel 10%–20% for manager onsite visits.

Responsibilities

• Execute due diligence on private investments for Corient’s alternatives platform with a focus on private credit.
• Analyze direct lending strategies (senior secured, unitranche, and mezzanine debt funds), specialty finance markets (asset-backed lending, litigation finance, and royalties strategies), and opportunistic credit managers (distressed debt, special situations, and structured credit).
• Conduct manager meetings. Perform rigorous remote and in-person operational and investment reviews.
• Author investment memos. Produce comprehensive risk-return profiles and underwriting documentation.
• Track manager performance and maintain monitoring database.
• Create marketing collateral and educational materials for platform investments.
• Help wealth advisory teams with navigating the Corient platform or answering technical queries.
• Articulate private credit market trends.
