Summary

This New York-based position will support due diligence for Corient’s Private Investment platform. This includes investments across both Growth and Income-focused mandates for Corient’s new Vintage series program as well as other product areas within the platform.

Position Description:

  • Conduct rigorous due diligence on new private investments for Corient’s alternatives platform. This includes in-person and remote meetings with fund managers and ensuring that all due diligence process requirements are fulfilled.
  • Support Corient’s proprietary private investment vehicles, Corient Registered Alternatives Fund (CoRA) and Corient Private Access (CoPA).
  • Work with Corient’s wealth advisory teams to support client service and business development efforts related to private investments.
  • Serve as product expert for private investments and other related investment offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. CFA/CAIA/FRM designations a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience as an investment analyst/banker/consultant in a private investment-related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in analytical tools and applications.
  • Exceptional communicator in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong organizational abilities, including data collection and documentation.
  • Excels in both collaborative and independent work environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver high-quality outcomes, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel ~10-20%.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
