Job summary

Reed Smith LLP seeks a Client Value Analyst to support pricing, budgeting, and matter management initiatives. You will gather data, build reports and dashboards, and help optimize profitability across client matters. The role partners with attorneys, Finance, and BD to deliver effective pricing strategies.

The position offers exposure to AFAs, profitability analysis, and legal project management while collaborating with multiple firm stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree/certs a plus.
• Experience: Min 2 years in pricing, financial analysis, legal project management or related role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and analysis of pricing arrangements (hourly, fixed, capped, AFAs).
• Prepare pricing proposals and RFP responses using historical data and financial analyses.
• Perform matter/portfolio analyses to identify trends, variances, and profitability opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating financial performance and pricing recommendations.
