Job summary

Reed Smith LLP in Houston seeks a Client Value Analyst to support pricing, budgeting, and matter management by analyzing data and delivering reporting that informs fee arrangements.

You will collaborate with attorneys, Finance, and Business Development to create pricing solutions, monitor performance, and improve profitability through dashboards and streamlined processes. This role also offers exposure to AFAs and profitability analysis in a leading firm environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., project management) a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, legal project management, or related role; experience in large law firm or professional services preferred.
• Experience with alternative fee arrangements, matter budgeting, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pricing arrangements for client matters (hourly, fixed, capped, and AFAs).
• Support pricing proposals and RFP responses with historical matter data and financial analyses.
• Perform matter/portfolio analyses to identify trends, variances, and profitability improvements.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating financial performance and pricing recommendations.
