Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking a Client Value Analyst to drive pricing and matter management initiatives. You will gather data, build models, and prepare reports to improve profitability and client service. The role collaborates with attorneys, Finance, BD, and other firm stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing pricing solutions, scoping key cost drivers, and supporting AFAs, budgeting, and project management across matters. Strong Excel and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, legal project management, or related role.
• Experience in large law firm or professional services preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with alternative fee arrangements, matter budgeting, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing arrangements for client matters (hourly, fixed, capped, and AFAs) and support pricing proposals.
• Monitor matter budgets and financial performance; prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Support matter planning with budget development, staffing analyses, and work plans; assist with PM documentation.
