Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking a Client Value Analyst to support the Firm's client value strategy through financial analysis, pricing support, matter budgeting, and legal project management. You will work with attorneys and Finance, Business Development, and other stakeholders to develop pricing solutions and monitor matter performance.

The role provides opportunities to develop expertise in legal pricing, profitability analysis, and project management while collaborating across the Firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of pricing, financial analysis, legal project management experience preferred.
• Experience with alternative fee arrangements, matter budgeting, and financial modeling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pricing arrangements for client matters including hourly, fixed, capped, and AFAs.
• Prepare pricing proposals and RFP responses using historical matter data and financial analyses.
• Perform matter and portfolio analyses to identify trends, variances, and profitability opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating financial performance and pricing recommendations.
