Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a pricing leader to manage the pricing department, ensure compliance with federal and international regulations, and deliver competitive quotes that protect margins. The role requires strong negotiation, market analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration across freight services.

You will oversee SOPs, train staff, and coordinate with carriers and internal teams to optimize pricing strategies and contract structures while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing for NVOCC transportation and/or freight forwarding (ocean/air/intermodal/trucking/warehousing).
• Pricing experience across multiple logistics services with ability to compare market values and craft competitive quotes.

Responsibilities

• Document and implement standard pricing procedures and service parameters.
• Lead pricing team to ensure accurate SOP adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff and maintain training records for divisional objectives.
• Prepare and update market rate analyses and customer advisories per FMC regulations.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and manage vendor relationships.
• Draft service proposals and NSA/MSA agreements based on customer needs.
