Job summary

Jobtailor in Connecticut seeks a skilled Pricing Analyst to review quotations, analyze pricing data, and support cross-functional decisions in a manufacturing context. You will partner with sales and product teams to ensure profitability and compliance, leveraging JDE and Salesforce.

The role requires 3–5+ years in pricing, strong Excel and ERP experience, and excellent communication for collaborating with senior stakeholders. On-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Sales Operations, or related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably Building/Construction or Hardware Industry related.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
• Knowledge of pricing principles, market analysis, and cost structures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in dynamic conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with pricing software, ERP systems, and/or CRM tools (Salesforce, JDE) preferred.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review quotations for completeness, accuracy, compliance with pricing, profitability, and legal guidelines.
• Seek clarification and acquire missing information to facilitate approvals.
• Analyze and resolve problems expeditiously and thoroughly.
• Coordinate information and actions regarding customer needs, pricing, products, competition, and procedures.
• Ensure accurate tracking of approved quotations.
• Understand how the quotation system works and its ERP interactions.
• Use JDE ERP system to support quotation data accuracy and translation.
• Provide monthly support to Pricing Managers for pricing issue resolution.
• Support quotation department projects impacting profitability.
• Partner with the Access & Egress Hardware Group to maintain up-to-date product and pricing knowledge.
