Job summary

RXO Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support strategic pricing initiatives within the LTL transportation sector. You will interpret complex datasets, develop pricing proposals, and run scenario-based models to optimize pricing for new and existing customers.

The role requires strong Excel skills and close coordination with our sales team and carrier partners to drive cost efficiencies and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of Pricing and/or Analytics Experience.
• Fluency in Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid preparation and gather relevant data for pricing events.
• Source LTL carriers and negotiate competitive rates.
• Analyze procurement results and support pricing recommendations.
• Prepare freight spend studies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and account teams on pricing needs.
• Load and maintain contracts in RXO’s TMS.
• Keep the carrier contract database accurate and up to date.
• Communicate with carrier partners to clarify data and gather insights.
• Run pricing scenarios to support strategic decision making.
• Support continuous improvement of customer pricing strategies.
• Mentor associate level roles.
