Herc Rentals Inc. is building a brand-new pricing organization and seeks a Pricing Analyst to support pricing projects, system enhancements, and analytics.

The role involves delivering weekly and monthly pricing performance reports and collaborating with sales to optimize renewals and wallet share. You will provide analysis on pricing trends, market conditions, and demand curves, while designing automated reporting to meet growing needs.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in sales or pricing analytics preferred.
• Experience with analytics tools is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on pricing related projects and system enhancements, including BRD development and UAT when necessary.
• Report on weekly and monthly pricing performance and analytics by market, region and division.
• Drive contract renewal process with sales to renew before expiration while optimizing contribution and share of wallet.
• Analyze pricing trends and market conditions.
• Provide detailed pricing analysis and recommendations to align rates with strategies.
• Produce demand curve analysis and support pricing decisions.
• Optimize local list and floor rates based on market conditions.
• Manage contract deviation process to improve billing accuracy and compliance.
• Provide analysis on key performance indicators.
• Develop and design new reporting to meet demand or increase automation.
• Assist in planning and direction of the organization’s strategic and long-range goals.
• Support region reviews and senior management meetings with analysis and insights.
• Develop presentation material for reviews, meetings, conferences, analysts and senior management.
