Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or construction coordination (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with estimating or preconstruction software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, On-Screen Takeoff) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the preconstruction and estimating teams during pursuit, proposal, and pre-award phases.
• Coordinate and manage preconstruction schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Assist with solicitation, tracking, and analysis of subcontractor and vendor bids.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
• Prepare and distribute bid packages, meeting materials, and internal reports.
• Coordinate pre-bid meetings, site visits, and internal review sessions.
• Track scope clarifications, exclusions, and assumptions throughout the estimating process.
• Assist in assembling proposals, presentations, and interview materials.
• Collaborate closely with project executives, estimators, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
• Ensure compliance with Suffolk standards, procedures, and quality expectations.
• Manage Subcontractor and vendor database and Bid Management Systems.
• Support Prequalification process assisting with document tracking and prequalification form status updates.
• Management of subcontract issuance process in collaboration with Estimating, Ops, and Legal
