Suffolk – America’s Contractor – seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to steer opportunities from RFP through pre-construction to buyout, coordinating with Estimating, Operations, and leadership. The role focuses on thorough proposal development and cross‑functional alignment.

The successful candidate will identify, coordinate, and communicate proposal development between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring on-time, quality deliverables and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field desired.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction.
• Experience with preconstruction, estimating and operations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project pursuit and pre-construction deliverables with leadership and estimating.
• Review documentation for quality, content, and constructability.
• Manage timelines and assign responsibilities for proposals.
• Coordinate with marketing to develop proposal documents.
• Maintain client relationships throughout project pursuit and pre-construction.
• Assess risk factors with management and facilitate constructability resolutions.
