Job summary

MCI Talent Group is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the estimating and preconstruction process, coordinating with Project Managers, architects, and owners to ensure successful project handoffs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience with preconstruction and estimating processes.
• Familiarity with estimating software (Building Connected) and quantity survey tools.
• Ability to develop preliminary schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Strong bid package development and subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preconstruction and estimating from inception through project handoffs to the Project Management Staff.
• Prepare bids and proposals for different contract types (Lump Sum, GMP, Cost Plus, etc.).
• Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, and owners to transition projects.
• Develop project schedules with the Superintendent and Project Manager and ensure budgets and schedules are met.
• Support constructability reviews through communication with the project team, designers, and subcontractors.
• Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with cost controls and estimation tasks.
