Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Preconstruction Director for the Southeast Division in Orlando, FL. Lead a diverse team of estimators, schedulers, PMs, and BIM experts to deliver competitive preconstruction services and robust bid responses.

You will drive constructability reviews, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with owners and designers to ensure project success and MWBE participation across bids.

Qualifications

• BS in construction management or related field.
• 20+ years’ experience with a GC on large commercial projects.
• Proven leadership of a preconstruction department and client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the preconstruction team for a collaborative environment.
• Oversee deliverables and ensure accuracy across stakeholders.
• Review design documents to determine scope and budget implications.
• Coordinate constructability reviews with project and schedulers.
• Maintain preconstruction schedules and ensure compliance with RFP requirements.
