Job summary

Confidential CRE Jobs seeks a Director of Preconstruction to lead preconstruction and estimating across Florida and the Southeast in an integrated owner/developer/GC setting. You will mentor a team of estimators and work with the Executive Director of Construction on budgets, feasibility analyses, and development planning.

This leadership role emphasizes conceptual budgeting, pricing, and value engineering for ground-up, redevelopments, TI, and capex projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in commercial construction, preconstruction and estimating.
• Experience with an integrated owner/developer/general contractor preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; proficient with estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for Florida and the Southeast.
• Oversee a team of civil and vertical estimators; mentor staff and ensure consistency.
• Partner with Executive Director of Construction on budgets, feasibility, and planning.
• Provide cost guidance from project inception through construction.
• Collaborate with Leasing, Development, Design, Architecture, Engineering, and PM teams.
• Develop and refine budgets for ground-up, redevelopment, TI, and capital projects.
