Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Preconstruction in Columbus, OH to lead acquisition strategy, due diligence, and feasibility across multifamily and public-sector projects.

The role oversees zoning, entitlements, and coordination of architects, engineers, and consultants, while guiding budget, schedules, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with HUD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of relevant experience in multifamily, mixed-use, or public-sector development.
• Experience with land acquisition, entitlements, permitting, and financial feasibility.
• Familiarity with LIHTC, HUD, OHFA, HOME, CDBG, bond financing, and public-private partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in acquisition strategy, site selection, due diligence, and preliminary financial feasibility.
• Direct zoning, annexation, variances, site plan approvals, and entitlement activities.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, surveyors, environmental and legal consultants.
• Coordinate utility providers for water, sewer, and other infrastructure.
• Oversee environmental reviews, geotechnical investigations, and title reviews.
• Lead project teams and supervise staff, providing coaching and development.
• Prepare executive reports for leadership and board.
