Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in commercial projects.
• Columbus, OH area preferred; relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate Value Engineering ideas and costs.
• Research materials and source viable alternatives.
• Review and refine estimates with the team.
• Manage staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain expert knowledge of current market and unit pricing.
• Build and manage qualified Subcontractor Bid Lists.
• Proactively call subcontractors to bid.
• Analyze incoming bids and detailed scopes of work.
• Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors.
• Build relationships with Owners and Architects.
• Prepare polished presentation documents.
• Present cost information and estimates to clients.
