Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Pre-Construction Analyst to collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Procurement teams across early to late development stages. The role focuses on feasibility, schedules, budgets, safety, and contracts, acting as a liaison until handoff to the Construction PM at Full Notice to Proceed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in renewable energy construction, engineering, or project management.
• 3–5 years in Commercial/Utility solar or battery projects.
• Experience with EPCs, CM firms, or owner/developer.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal/external teams.

Responsibilities

• Review site feasibility and preliminary designs for feasibility and efficiency.
• Assess schedules for RFP, EPC durations, construction, and commissioning; coordinate with Procurement for equipment delivery.
• Evaluate site risks including access, safety, and local conditions; liaise with stakeholders.
• Review EPC terms: scope of work, safety, QA, milestones, and cash-flow exhibits.
• Coordinate interconnection schedules and liaison with construction and commissioning teams.
• Support pre-construction budget management and monthly invoicing per cash flow.
• Communicate project status to Pre-Construction team and leadership.
• Identify wage, labor, and apprenticeship requirements for project compliance.
