Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Manager, Practice Operations II to lead daily practice operations at Stoneham location within the Tufts Medicine Cancer Center. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with billing, Finance, and Physician Services to improve patient flow and care quality.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in business/healthcare or equivalent, with healthcare management experience; strong leadership and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
• Two years of healthcare management or practice management experience.
• Alternative: Associate degree with two years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily practice operations for one or more sites to ensure efficiency.
• Handles day-to-day personnel issues including hiring, evaluations, discipline, and coaching.
• Monitors expenses, handles accounts payable, and approves expenditures.
• Conducts monthly meetings with providers and staff to communicate policies and updates.
• Collaborates with Billing, Finance, and Physician Services to improve AR, referrals and training.
• Assists in annual budget preparation and monitors monthly budget vs. revenue.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, Meaningful Use, and quality measures.
