Job summary

The Hoffman Agency, a global public relations and integrated marketing communications consultancy focused on B2B tech, seeks an Account Director to lead a portfolio of four to six client accounts and own both strategy and execution.

You will mentor a talented team, drive media results, contribute to new business, and grow client impact while delivering trusted counsel to senior executives. Hybrid work across US offices offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of public relations experience; agency experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple B2B accounts and PR plans.
• People management experience, ideally with direct reports.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; can mentor teammates.
• Strong organizational skills for juggling multiple clients and deadlines.
• Familiar with media databases, monitoring and measurement platforms, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, PR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead client programs for 4-6 B2B accounts with strategy and execution.
• Serve as trusted advisor to client executives and set program scope.
• Drive development of key messages and PR plans; review core content.
• Own reporting and measure results to improve client satisfaction.
• Set media strategy and maintain reporter relationships; staff briefings.
• Mentor junior team members and support growth at Hoffman.
