Job summary

SHRM seeks a Strategy & Portfolio Product Manager to drive product strategy and portfolio optimization. You will analyze performance, customer needs, market trends, and opportunities, reporting to the Head of Product Strategy & Portfolio.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Audience, Marketing, Technology, Digital, Finance, Strategy, and Knowledge teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations and validate new concepts from discovery through scale, with a hybrid office schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in product management, product strategy, or portfolio management.
• Experience in market research, customer discovery, and business-case development.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience in subscription, platform, or workplace technology environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage SHRM’s product portfolio, including performance and alignment.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities.
• Develop recommendations on investment, enhancement, consolidation, or sunset.
• Lead cross-functional portfolio and product strategy initiatives from planning to completion.
• Develop analyses, business cases, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Apply AI and emerging technologies to research, validation, and workflow improvement.
