Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a dynamic Director of Strategic Portfolio Management & PMO to lead the OIT project portfolio and oversee select high-priority technology initiatives. You will partner with the CIO and OIT leaders to align projects with institutional priorities, establish clear priorities, and improve delivery through structured governance and executive visibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, management, organizational leadership, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
PMP, PfMP, PgMP, or comparable professional certification.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and establishing project governance or portfolio management practices.

Responsibilities

Lead the Office of Information Technology project portfolio and manage select high-priority technology projects and programs.
Facilitate project teams, steering committees, and cross-functional working groups through planning, execution, and transition.
Develop and manage project charters, scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
Directly lead enterprise technology projects and programs sponsored by the CIO.
Establish a consistent process for project intake, prioritization, sequencing, and review.
Develop and maintain an OIT roadmap showing major initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and resource needs.
