Job summary

Det-Tronics is seeking a Portfolio Project Manager to lead sustaining and new development projects for transmitter and toxic gas detector product groups. You’ll develop cross-functional plans, guide teams across engineering, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and marketing to meet on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires navigating regulatory challenges, maintaining detailed project plans, and driving continuous improvement within our safety-critical product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Min 10 years of project management experience for electromechanical products.
• End-to-end ownership of electromechanical product delivery including team leadership.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with all cross-functional swim-lanes.
• Experience in highly regulated life-safety markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the project portfolio for transmitters and toxic gas detectors from design to end-of-life.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, planning and manufacturing.
• Develop project plans with schedules, resources, budgets, and KPI metrics.
• Drive on-time and on-budget execution and improve procedures.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies.
