Job summary

Det-Tronics is seeking a Portfolio Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN to lead sustaining and new development projects for transmitter and toxic gas detector product groups. You will manage cross-functional teams across design, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and marketing to meet on-time and on-budget objectives.

The role requires a strong track record in electromechanical product delivery, navigating regulation-heavy environments, and delivering results in a fast-paced, global technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of the portfolio of projects for transmitters and toxic gas detectors across their lifecycle, including launches and modifications.
• Guide cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, marketing) to achieve goals.
• Define and assess scope for new projects, integrate into existing portfolio and meet business objectives.
• Develop project plans with schedules, resources, deliverables, budget, and KPIs.
• Drive execution to on-time, on-budget results and improve company procedures.
• Act as main point of contact with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, guiding stakeholders through processes.
• Identify and escalate risks with mitigation and contingency plans.
• Track and communicate project metrics and resource needs.
