Job summary

Det-Tronics is seeking a Portfolio Project Manager in Minneapolis to guide sustaining and new development projects for transmitter and toxic gas detector product lines, from design through end-of-life. You will build cross-functional plans, lead engineering, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and marketing teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in a highly regulated life-safety market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in project management of electromechanical products.
• Proven end-to-end delivery leadership for electromechanical products.
• Experience in highly regulated environments and life-safety products.
• Strong written and verbal communication; leadership and collaboration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio of projects across lifecycle from design to end-of-life.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Define scope of new projects and align with business objectives.
• Develop plans and strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
• Drive execution and ensure compliance with policies.
• Act as main contact for internal teams, customers, suppliers, regulators.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
• Track schedules, status, results, and allocate resources.
• Follow quality management for safety-critical products.
• Support benchmarking and product positioning with PM and Marketing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
