Job summary

Barclays USCB Value Management Office is seeking an AVP to lead Portfolio Planning & Execution in Wilmington, DE. You will coordinate strategic investment planning, intake management, and cross-functional prioritization across a complex tech and business portfolio.

You will partner with business, technology, and finance to enable informed investment strategies, governance, and effective portfolio execution, setting objectives and coaching teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

Lean Portfolio Management, Agile, SAFe, or Program Increment planning experience.
Portfolio governance, investment prioritization, business case readiness, and funding approvals.
Facilitation and communication to support prioritization, trade-offs, risk, and capacity discussions.
Executive presence with data-driven recommendations and clear trade-offs.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Facilitate portfolio prioritisation within the established control framework.
Govern portfolio governance enabling data driven decisions and executive reporting.
Monitor portfolio performance and report status to senior management.
Manage Book of Work priorities, dependencies, and change delivery.
Remediate control weaknesses and drive maturity against indicators.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders and empower resources.
