Lumen is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Strategist to shape investment decisions and build sophisticated financial models for a high-impact partnership portfolio. You will guide monetization strategies, pricing, and partner structures to support enterprise growth.

Collaborating with business development, product, finance, and sales, you will transform market data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. The role blends strategy, analytics, and execution.

Qualifications

Eight plus years of experience in portfolio management, corporate strategy, or related roles within large organizations.
Expert-level financial modeling with experience building complex business cases, investment analyses, and forecasting.
Proven ability to influence strategic decisions through financial insights and executive recommendations.
Experience developing monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, revenue models, and partner constructs.
Strong understanding of consumption-based, cloud, software, AI, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or enterprise technology business models.
Experience working with partner ecosystems and revenue-sharing models.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and establish governance frameworks across matrixed organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA valued.

Responsibilities

Lead portfolio analysis and prioritization efforts, recommending where to invest, scale, optimize, or exit based on market opportunities and business impact.
Design and evaluate monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, revenue-sharing models, and partner commercial structures.
Build and maintain advanced financial models reflecting consumption-based economics and unit economics.
Develop portfolio-level business cases, including market sizing, forecasting, scenario planning, and marketplace economics.
Establish standardized financial assumptions, evaluation methodologies, and governance for investment decisions.
Partner with value realization teams to define and track KPIs that measure portfolio performance.
Translate complex analyses into executive-ready recommendations and presentations for leadership.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing analytical and modeling support for priority commercialization initiatives.
