Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee intake, tracking, and execution of projects within a designated work group. You will maintain project management systems, run status meetings, and provide reporting on workload and progress.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, PMs, engineers, and field teams to monitor portfolio health, align with priorities, and support asset tracking. Proven leadership and technology portfolio management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a Portfolio Manager or similar position.
• PMP certification through PMI.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and track record managing complex project portfolios.
• Experience running complex VMware programs and coordinating stakeholder environments.
• Experience with Global Financial customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analytic skills.
• Proficient with MS Office Projects (Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
• Expert knowledge of MS Project.
• Expert knowledge of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio aligned with organizational objectives.
• Prioritize projects with directors based on priorities, resources, and risk.
• Optimize resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Help establish project governance processes and standards.
• Develop requirements, adhere to schedules, and manage project plans.
• Manage a diverse portfolio ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
• Develop project plans and manage resources and timelines.
• Foster relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and team development.
