Job summary

FHI 360 in New York, NY is seeking a Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of private sector-funded initiatives including Lifting Futures, Next Engineers, and Engineers of Change.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships with GE Aerospace and GE Vernova, ensure program excellence, financial health, and opportunities for growth across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education, Economic Development, Workforce Development, Public Administration, International Development, Business Administration, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Project Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the portfolio of private sector–funded initiatives.
• Lead portfolio planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate staffing via matrix management and support workforce development within the portfolio.
• Manage donor and client relationships with GE Aerospace and GE Vernova.
• Ensure financial health, compliance, and resource stewardship for projects.
• Support business development and growth of partnerships across the portfolio.
