Job summary

FHI 360 seeks a Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of private sector-funded initiatives, including Lifting Futures, Next Engineers, and Engineers of Change. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, guide Project Directors, and serve as the main client liaison with GE Aerospace and GE Vernova.

The role requires 15+ years in senior program leadership, a Master’s degree in a related field, and a PM certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• PM certification preferred for project oversight.
• 15+ years in program or portfolio leadership roles.
• Experience with donor-funded programs and senior partnerships.
• Ability to manage multi-site programs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for portfolio initiatives.
• Lead portfolio planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Direct project teams and coordinate staff across the portfolio.
• Engage donors and stakeholders; maintain client relationships.
• Ensure financial health, compliance, and resources to complete tasks.
• Identify opportunities for growth and new programming.
