Job summary

FHI 360 seeks a Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee a portfolio of private sector-funded initiatives, including Lifting Futures, Next Engineers, and Engineers of Change. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships with GE Aerospace and GE Vernova, and drive program performance, financial health, and impact across multiple sites.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressively responsible program, portfolio, or organizational leadership experience.
8+ years of department-level leadership, strong business acumen and/or line management experience.
Experience leading complex, multi-site, donor-funded programs or portfolios.
Experience managing senior-level donor relationships and strategic partnerships.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership & oversight for private sector-funded initiatives and international STEM programs.
Lead portfolio planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts.
Oversee staff across projects, ensuring program quality, financial health, and stakeholder engagement.
Represent the organization to donors, partners, educational institutions, and government stakeholders.
