Job summary
Talcott Financial Group is seeking a Program Director to join the Portfolio Management Organization, delivering high-impact enterprise programs within timelines and budgets. This senior leader will champion modern delivery practices including AI-enabled tools.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years in Insurance/Financial Services, expertise in life and annuity products or reinsurance, and proven ability to lead in matrixed environments. Strong communication and strategic influence are essential.
Qualifications
- 15 years of program leadership in Insurance/Financial Services.
- Direct experience with life/annuity products and/or reinsurance.
- Strong finance orientation and ability to work with Finance/Actuarial teams.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, and data-driven delivery.
- Experience with process reengineering and scalable improvements.
- PMP/PgMP/Agile certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control programs across varying complexity.
- Develop and maintain program plans; track milestones and budgets.
- Partner across functions to build business cases and link delivery to value.
- Lead governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Drive change management and stakeholder alignment.
