Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating seeks an experienced procurement professional to source Plastic and Composite materials, components and services, ensuring alignment with SOPs, contracts, and regulatory requirements. You will drive strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include PO management, data maintenance in ERP, change coordination, and negotiations to maximize efficiency and minimize costs while ensuring compliance with AS9100/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 3+ years of procurement experience or 7+ years without a degree.
• Experience with thermoforming, injection molding, and/or composites procurement is a plus.
• Engineered-to-order procurement is a plus.
• Willing and able to travel throughout the United States and to other countries as required.

Responsibilities

• Place and confirm purchase orders with approved suppliers per contracts and lead times.
• Maintain contracts and source rules within ERP system; manage lead times and costs.
• Coordinate engineering changes with Engineering; analyze inventory and cost impacts.
