Job summary

RECARO Americas in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager to lead purchasing projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and optimize the supply base for aircraft seating programs. You will drive program reviews, risk assessments, and supplier coordination across global stakeholders to meet SP targets.

The role requires extensive SAP experience, PMP or Six Sigma credentials, and a strong track record in project management within a complex manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 8 years of experience in Purchasing, Materials Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing role; extensive knowledge of aircraft seats.
• 2 years of SAP experience.
• MS Office Suite required.
• Six Sigma – Green, Black, or Master Black belt preferred.
• Project Management (PMP) Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Purchasing in program and customer reviews; liaise between departments.
• Evaluate development and customization projects per RECARO Americas strategy.
• Contribute to supply chain optimization and change management.
• Define lead times and risks; ensure feasible OEBs per SP requirements.
• Plan purchasing activities; track milestones and critical parts.
• Report project status; implement corrective actions to meet SP targets.
• Maintain KPI status; escalate issues per SPS and SP processes.
• Ensure raw materials availability with involved departments.
• Implement logistics concepts for affected parts and suppliers.
• Prepare PSC/PDP purchasing specifications; define project targets.
