Job summary

Conagra Brands in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a senior Supply Chain leader to oversee planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, and materials management at our plant. You will partner with suppliers, operations, customer service, logistics, and commercial teams to drive improvements and optimize service, inventory, and costs.

The role demands 5+ years of manufacturing supply chain experience, SAP and WMS proficiency, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field required.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, planning, or related areas.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with SAP and materials management systems; warehouse management systems experience preferred.
• Experience managing key performance indicators and driving operational improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally within a matrixed organization.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, shipping, receiving, and materials management activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, and cost performance.
• Serve as the primary supply chain liaison with strategic suppliers and corporate partners.
• Collaborate with plant operations to optimize production cycles, inventory levels, and working capital.
• Manage supplier and plant performance metrics, scorecards, and KPIs.
• Lead demand planning activities related to product launches, transitions, and business changes.
• Conduct supply chain business reviews with internal and external partners.
• Support annual planning, budgeting, capacity planning, and staffing processes.
• Develop, mentor, and coach supply chain team members and leaders.
• Participate as a member of the plant leadership team in support of overall plant goals.
