Job summary

Conagra Brands in Council Bluffs is seeking a materials planner to ensure supply for manufacturing by managing supplier schedules, confirmations, and inventory movements. You will translate supply plans into daily material flow activities and partner with production scheduling, logistics, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes resolving short-term constraints, supporting uninterrupted production, and providing visibility into execution risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business or supply chain.
• 1–3 years in materials planning, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office apps including Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating across functions and with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material availability and execution risks within planning windows.
• Translate supply plans into daily/weekly call-off schedules for materials.
• Confirm supplier and warehouse deliveries aligned with production schedules.
• Review orders to ensure delivery dates and priorities for execution.
• Resolve short-term supply issues and communicate risks to planning teams.
• Collaborate with planning, logistics and warehouse teams on material movements.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delays and shortages and support dock scheduling.
• Identify master data concerns (lead times, calendars, lot sizes) and escalate.
• Support rapid response to interruptions and participate in continuous improvement.
