Job summary

Clarios, LLC, a leading energy storage solutions provider, is seeking a Plant Buyer to partner with Winston-Salem operations, focusing on bridging plant needs with broader procurement strategies. You will influence sourcing decisions, manage supplier performance, and identify opportunities to improve cost, continuity, and efficiency across the plants.

The role emphasizes negotiating supplier agreements, leveraging cross-plant synergies, and maintaining strong relationships with plant leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, supply chain, or plant operations preferred.
• Lean techniques and facilitation (A3, VSM, Kaizen)
• Strong negotiation, analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Strong Excel skills, Power BI, RFQ Tools required
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with Plant Leadership, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Translate plant priorities and supplier needs into Procurement solutions.
• Analyze supplier spend to identify savings, cost avoidance, benchmarking, consolidation, and sourcing opportunities.
• Maintain a prioritized pipeline of Procurement initiatives across plants.
• Spearhead supplier selection, new supplier requests, and sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate and finalize supplier agreements with Legal involvement as needed.
