Job summary

SAFEWAY GARAGE DOORS, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all plant operations, including production, scheduling, quality control, safety, maintenance, and personnel management. The role reports to the VP of Operations and requires strong manufacturing leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and ERP systems, with excellent communication and team-building skills to drive performance and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Proven experience as Plant Manager in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma or ISO quality systems.
• Experience with ERP and manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily production activities to ensure timely manufacturing.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and staffing to meet targets.
• Implement continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety policies.
• Recruit, train, supervise production staff and provide coaching.
• Prepare KPI reports and communicate with upper management.
