Advantage Technical is seeking a seasoned plant leader to direct a multi-shift manufacturing facility of approximately 150 employees. You will be responsible for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial performance, driving operational excellence and leadership development to meet customer commitments.

In this role you will oversee production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics; manage budgets and P&L; implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement; mentor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, operations management, business, or related field.
  • Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen.
  • Progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a plant operations environment.
  • Strong leadership, team-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and CI methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain and logistics.
  • Ensure achievement of production targets, on-time delivery, and P&L objectives.
  • Monitor and improve plant performance using KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote safety, quality and compliance culture.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts.
  • Manage budgets, cost control and overall plant financial performance.
  • Develop and mentor leadership teams and support workforce planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing priorities and capacity planning.

Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and leadership development while ensuring customer commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all plant operations, including production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics
  • Ensure achievement of production targets, on-time delivery, operational goals, and P&L objectives
  • Monitor and improve plant performance using KPIs and operational metrics
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a strong safety, quality, and compliance culture
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to improve operational performance
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and overall plant financial performance
  • Develop and mentor leadership teams, supporting workforce planning and succession planning
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, procurement, and commercial operations to align manufacturing priorities and capacity planning
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience
  • Strong P&L ownership
  • Progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a plant operations environment
  • Strong leadership, team-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skill
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and operational performance management
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading plant operations, safety programs, and financial performance
  • 7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
