Job summary

Magna Engineered Glass, part of Magna Exteriors, seeks a Controller to lead accounting and finance functions, drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role oversees cost/ general accounting, payroll, and internal auditing while partnering with IT to support financial systems.

Strong leadership and GAAP expertise are essential. The position requires a Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting/finance management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements philosophy and strategic direction and systems for all accounting/finance functions.
• Supervise general accounting, cost accounting, payroll, internal auditing, and budgetary controls.
• Consolidate financial reports and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
• Manage planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with IT/systems teams to support financial systems and reporting tools.
